May I publish Blakey report?

This guy is my hero :) He exercises the freedom of speech the way it should be!!! He has no personal motive to degrade some one. He is not selling personal lives of celebrities like media does. He is just defending freedom of speech against the oppressors of it.

So, here he explained why he, or any one, can publish Blakey report. May I ;)
Dear Mr. Griffin:
Thank you for sending me a copy of Judge Gilmore’s protective order in Proctor & Gamble v. Amway along with your letter of March 2. My reading of this order leads to the following observations:

1. Paragraph 16 says that the terms of the order shall remain in force "to the extent that the information in such material is not or does not become known to the public..." Since I obtained my copy of the Blakey Report from a publicly accessible web page, the information clearly has become known to the public. The order therefore no longer applies to this document.

2. Paragraph 16 also says that the protective order is "binding upon all persons to whom confidential information is disclosed hereunder." The information was not disclosed to me under the terms of this order. I was never a party to this litigation, nor do I have any relationship of any kind with Amway, or Proctor & Gamble, or their respective attorneys, agents, or consultants. The protective order was never intended to apply to totally unrelated parties like me, or the news media, and it is not binding upon me now.

Sincerely,
Dr. David S. Touretzky
Research Professor
cc: Judge D. Vanessa Gilmore

Professor G. Robert Blakey is the nation’s foremost authority on the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act (RICO). And in his opinion,
Amway business is run in a manner that is parallel to that of major organized crime groups, in particular the Mafia.

I got it from a public website. Ok, here is the Blakey report.

Critics have released tapes

QBlog Radio

Seriously, listen to the interview with lawDawg. It provides a good history of websites critical to Quixtar, Quixtar hatred and battle against the free speech, scary lawsuits files by Amway / Quixtar, pathetic BSMAA arbitration and behavior of the Quixtar defenders.

Good job, QBlog!

Should I be harassed?

Ok answer me, if I host some thing that

Does not have a seal / protective court order on it
Does not contain any wrong information
Does not have any libel or profanity or threats

Should I be harassed by lawyers? Is there any law that prevents me from legal bull shitting?

And what if that exact content (word to word) is already published in many other places? Many of them are anonymous? So why me?

And go find those anonymous places your self if you are the one hunting and erasing them. That's your job. Not mine.

So what's going on? Quixtar is trying to supress freedom of speech by bugging me. So far indirectly. They are quite good trampling this basic right of an american. Freedom eh!

Well good job, I don't think public like supressors of free speech very much. Keep getting more 'negative' publicity by doing so.

Nutrilite - expensive urine?

Vitamin Supplements - Ask the Dietitian
The reason I said you would make expensive urine is your body absorbs about 15% from a vitamin supplement, assuming you don't have a deficiency for a particular nutrient. The rest is excreted in your urine.

Q: Are multivitamins helpful or harmful?

A: Depends on whether or not your diet contains enough food and variety to supply all the nutrients your body needs.

If you eat more than 1600 calories and a variety of food, you may be wasting your money and making some very expensive urine. Though, taking one multivitamin per day that has 100% of the Recommended Dietary Allowances for vitamins and minerals will not hurt you.

If you are consuming less than 1600 calories per day, you are not getting all the vitamins and minerals you need. In that case, I would suggest you take a multivitamin that has 100% of the RDA for all vitamins and minerals.
Also, I hate Ginseng. Now I know why. It kills sleep and give a delusion of energy. I think it's for those poor sleep deprived IBO couples who are so tired to ...make love after attending all the seminars etc. And Ginseng gives them that much energy.

It is not really natural. Ask teenagers who consume energy drinks filled with ginseng on concerts. Being awake more than they should gives them a "high". Ginseng does exactly that. And yeah, XS is LOADED with it. Try going to an open and drink some XS. Plan will make sense ;)

I don't know about you but I rather get a full sleep. Also, I eat way more than 1600 calories and I'm fine. I’d rather eat well than pop pills.

Also, if you are deficient in some vitamin, taking that might be a good idea. Ask you doctor and get a test to make sure what are you deficient in, for God sake. Taking excess of vitamins is not good either. It may even kill ya! Or if you are lucky, you'll make some expensive urine.

It's funny how people become dietitian the moment they sign up. Dude, it’s some serious shit. Don't fuck around.

eSpring vs Aquasana

First of all, a business truth: There could be a better and / or cheaper products out there. Learn to do business as a business person, not as a 'believer'.

Based on my experiences, Aquasana is slightly better, approximately $900 (nine hundred dollars) cheaper than eSpring, and cost per gallon is more economical.

Cheaper Cost / gallon should be the strength of "expensive but concentrated" eSpring. Concentration is usually one of those talking point like, "But our product saves money in the long run". Well, here Aquasana does.

Aquasana

Here is the moola I saved:

Aquasana Drinking Water System

SubTotal: $119.95
Discount: -$27.59
Shipping and Handling: $0.00
Sales Tax (if shipped to Texas): $0.00
Complete Total: $92.36
92.36 USD @ 1.2346 = $114.03 CAD.

This includes all taxes. Easier to install than eSpring. Yummy water.

Here is a good comparison study. Based of which I bought Aquasana. Thanks lawdawg. The great debate with IBOs can be seen here and here.

eSpring

For Quixtar's eSpring, (their shipping is free as well)

100188 eSpring® Water Purifier

Order Subtotal ................$877.60
Delivery Charge ................$0.00
Preset Delivery Charges ................$0.00
Handling ................$0.00
GST Tax* ................$61.43
HST Tax ................$0.00
PST Tax ................$70.21
Total ................$1,009.24

1,009.24 / 114 = 8.85 times.

Quality

Haven't you read that study? Aquasana beats eSpring, hands down!

See, I am not the one who buy low quality products from WalMart. Quality is most important to me. I'm also that type of a person who puts health of his family first when buying water filter. That's why instead of buying some proudct in hope of buying some PV, I bought what is good for me and my family.

Also I get to keep the money I saved, instead of making kids of Jay and Rich richer.

Now, I'm going to do an interview of some real dietition for the necessity of supplements. Stay tuned ;)

Dave Gurubel and another MLM?

Quixtar BLOG :: View topic - Dave Gurubel and another MLM?

Melanie posted
Dave Gurubel IS promoting another MLM. Check out this link to see the pre-launch site of the biz http://seethebiz.com/day_3.htm if you scroll to the bottom of the page there is a banner running across that says,' Featuring Growth Pro Trainer and Motivator Dave Gurubel'

My husband called the 1-866 number just for kicks and the man who answered said he just talked to Dave recently. According to the 'man on the other end of the phone' Dave is all up in this NEW EXCITING business opportunity.
So, is he gonna be fired as well? Like Joe Land? He is also in violation of Rule 6.5!

Fire is a funny word eh! Independent Business Owner got ...what? Fired!

MLM Blog - Quixtar related entries are BACK

Kawabonga! Ty "The Macho Man" Tribble has put Quixtar category back in his MLM blog. I found a while back, and wasn't very excited that Quixtar related entries GONE.

Are all Quixtar related entries are back or just few, I couldn't navigate to the past entries but that could be just me.

I like those bloggers who put an "update" on their blogs. The Blakey Report Story is a good example.

I know he is the president of the United States, errr, passport. Will I do the same thing if I were him? I dunno. But here is what I know: Web is fiercly honest! If all Quixtar related entries are back, Author of MLM blog appear more straight forward and web-savvy to me. Thus I'm more likely to sign up.

Companies have a full right to criticize each other. Pepsi does that to Coca Cola all the time. If a passport blog criticizes some aspects of Quixtar, so? Is Pepsi a bad company? Not really! Is Bo short character's been assassinated by Quixtar Diamonds etc. Oh yeah! Billy Florence linked Qrush didn't he?

So if mlmblog has some entries that criticize Quixtar business model, is it bad? or illegal? No, not really! Quixtar IBOs are free to comment there! Similarly Quixtar, or any one have a right to criticize passport, or any thing. What the hell I'm doing :) It's your birth right! And you do it to many things. I know people are afraid to speak up about Quixtar becuase of their legal blood hounds. Heck, I'm harassed for writing a blog that gets less than 40 hits a day!

Any way, lets hope all entries are back. They are written well, tight and professionaly. I know they help a lot of people to understand network marketting better.

Way to go, Ty "The Macho Man" Tribble! Welcome back to the Jedi,

Longboard is wicked yo!

Previous Long board episode

So update on my long boarding ventures. Mastered it today :) It was my second day. So just with every thing, first time was little embaracing. Even kids know how to do it. After that it's so fun! Travelled like 8 Kilometeres! Woo hoo.

Thanks to the smog alert, park was empty today!

My second target this summers: learn swimming. And oh, go to the hudson bay. North. And camping too, oh yeah! And kayaking....So much to do, so little time!

What's up with the word porn any way? It brought the shit load of traffic? Or was it some thing else as it was the same time?

Ok I promise, I will never use it again.

makingtherun.com :: View topic - Quixtar

I asked this question in makingtherun.com :: View topic - Quixtar
Does any one have any opinion about Google Bombing? Apparently Quixtar did that and they were not on google first page when search against Quixtar. It was for past few months. On June 1 they are back on.

There is some media attention to it as well:

http://www.ojr.org/ojr/stories/050601glaser/

[moderator: if that's not proper to appear on forum you may PM me. I just want to hear your opinion.]

Thanks!

Happy summers to all.
This post is to 'laud' a somewhat pro Quixtar Forum, makingtherun.com. I'm not sure if it should be called Quixtar forum, as Administrator 'Fred' emailed me to stop discussing Quixtar / MLM there, and stick to the general business. Else he'd delete my posts without warning. Well it's his board. He doesn't want me to discuss Quixtar then so be it. It's just funny that its an invite only board and I was invited there, to be moderated by an iron fist. Reminds me Monica of Friends. She loves to invite people in her home and then control them like a freak.

So keeping this in mind, I was sure that Fred would delete this post. And I expected that, as I put it in my post. Basically he has to approve every post to appear it to the public. So I didn't need to PM him. I just want to hear some pro Quixtar opinion about their google bombing.

Let me know if I am the only one seeing that post there. If not then I 'laud' Fred for not deleting my post.

Fred is quite knowledgable in MLM compensations plans. If you need some information about it to evaluate some MLM. His moderation style maybe different than what I'm used to.

Strengths of Quixtar

Despite being mathemtically flawed and all, Quixtar does have some strengths. Why people cling on to it? Here they are:

Great people

An average IBO is a good person. He is! He is positive, excited (at least looks like) and genuinely sincere. In his heart, he is offering you a win-win situation and best opportunity. Same thing he thinks it's good for him and his family. He will go out of his way to help you. Hard to say no to such a nice guy eh!

Without these great people, Quixtar won't last a second. A bad person can't sponsor a single person.

True, they use secret meeting and all, but they are trying to show you the "whole" picture and see what they see.

Unity

IBOs seem united. Only few who have been 'in' for long know some of the differences. Other wise serving crossline is not very uncommon.

Hard work

An average core IBO does work hard. Reall hard. I heard about my upline that he hardly spends a weekend at home. Always driving to show the plan. I always wonder when does he sleep?

Making it look easy

With tapes and seminars, they make it look so easy. Just around the corner. It is a skill to make any thing look so easy.

Exploring flaws

Every thing has some flaws. In the beginning of plan they list the ways to make money and point out their flaws. A good sales technique.

Sincerity

An average IBO is not a scammer. He is not an evil person. He is doing what is good for him, and you. He sincerely believes in it and want you to succeed and have a prosperous life. Don't know about IBOs who figured that out (Platinum and above?) are sincere any more but majority is.

Sense of Ownership

This is Quixtar's major strength. An IBO is not working for Quixtar. He is not working for any one. He thinks he is working for him. He'll go extra mile and do whatever he can. He'll build Quixtar, defend Quixtar and live Quixtar. He'll do all the work, and Quixtar and Kingpins will sit back, relax and take the bigger peace of pie. Cha-ching. I find it ironic when Dexter yager talks about slaves.

Reminds me a story of two brothers who inherited a cow. Older brother tricked younger one to take the front part and he took the rear end. Younger one fed the cow and stuff, as cow's mouth was his part; while older one took all the milk, as rear end was his part.

End is funny. Younger one started beating up his part of the cow when older one was taking his milk. Wonder if that'll happen to Quixtar?

The Water Experiment

Water

I'm starting this water experiment today. I used to drink Coffee and drinks more than water. BAD. Now what I'm doing is:
  • Drink a glass of water every hour in office
  • Have a bottle of water by the bedside when going to sleep. As:
Incidentally, you should drink a lot of water JUST before going to bed. Yes, you will have to get up during the night to pee, and you should drink more water even during the night. You will find that you get back to sleep easily and sleep better.
  • Carry a bottle of water everywhere
I have started it today. Feeling as active as I have drank 4 cups of espresso. Without any coffee since morning. Which is great!

What is saturation really?

What is saturation really?

It does NOT mean that every one has to sign up in MLM to saturate the market. Public perception is enough. If majority feels uncomfortable when prospected, market is saturated. Period. Just like telemarketing. Majority hates it, don't do it!! Adopt to the market, not the other way around.

Here is another nugget of wisdom: In Us, not just one or two MLMs are saturated. Majority is familiar with MLM model and detests dealing with MLMers.

Think about the following.
  • What it is in the market you are looking for in your MLM business? IBOs? What’s the potential?
  • Is there enough supply for your network? For your network's netword, network's network's netword? goes on.......
  • How the bonuses are calculated?
  • What is market perception?
  • How often customer use your service?
  • How much is a 'Real' need for you service?

MLM vs Advertisement

IBOs basically do advertisement for Quixtar. They don't manufacture products or manage wholesale inventories etc. Now this is where public opinion changes.

Advertisement is inherently fair. Where do we see all these ads? In some thing we like. Sports, TV, magazines, favourite sites. So public has been given some value and it's sort of a trade. I'm happy for this trade :) Too many ads are annoying, no question but balance is the key. When I see an ad, that means I'm being entertained by sports, TV, magazine etc. Exception are billboards but they look cool anyways. And I admit, I love some ads. Even some repeating ones. E.g some got good music or are very funny etc. I am ok to see some ads when I go see a movie because I know I have to pay more without ads.

And no, I don't like spam and just like any thing else, moderation is a must in advertisement.

In general, it's a good experience watching ads. And no pressure compared to talking to some sales person.

In MLM, I don't like being promoted for some opportunity, or a product by some friend. Most of the time it's ugly! I'm 'bugged' as compared to being entertained, and I'm 'pushed' as compared to be serviced.

Here is a kicker: These dirty tactics are not IBO’s fault!! They are symptoms of a failed, over saturated model.

What is wrong with MLM

MLM, Multi Level Marketing has some inherent flaws. They are written very well here:
Here are my two Canadian cents:

Cent # 1: Growth

Population growth rate of US is 0.92%, according to CIA fact book. If a MLM plan projects bonuses based on expanding 'downline' or 'network' faster than this rate, it will be impossible for the majority and therefore, a scam. As they say in Quixtar, "Fight with me, but don't fight with a principle".

If the MLM
  • Does not place it's major bonuses by developing downline faster than 0.1% a year
  • put real emphasis on retail to non participants, thus ensuring the profitability of bottom level IBOs / associates
  • Explain to the prospect it is mathematically impossible for every one to make a big team fast, and work around this fact
then it's legit.

Cent # 2: Profitability

As LawDawg explained, more than 80% MLMers will be always at the bottom. Their profitability should not be dependent only on having a big team, as they won't have any at any given instance.

Remember: Pyramid = Majority losing money. Think about 80% IBOs. If they are losing money, MLM = Pyramid. Add product or not, bottom line is the determining factor here.

Conculusion

MLM has two characterisitcs. It grows without control and levels determines the profitability. These two are the problem as well.

What happen on the web, stays on the web

Ok, I read it in Pacer as well, and Qblog have posted it that Lawsuit against Scott Larsen filed by Team of Destiny is dismissed.

It is all documented here that he tried somewhat to work with TOD. As far as their lawsuit goes. E.g. copy write problem, he fixed it. He put © etc. although I really doubt if any one would try to buy TOD tapes on Amquix.info. But point is:
What happens on the web, stays on the web.
This is, of course, aside from all the mirrors. This is the archive of EVERY website on web. Check out archive.org.

My little blog doesn't get a lot of traffic really. It's definitely no match to the research Scott did. I even screw up at my routine. I'm not a writer or business guru. But look here:
I have no idea who that guy (or gal, computer, or monkey) is. Never asked my permission, and I have no control over it. I understand when I write in public domain, I may not have any control over what I write. Once it's online, it's online. And that's one example. I have no freaking idea who else is mirroring me.

When a blog like mine got mirrored, extensive research like amquix.info will go neglected? I don't think so. Nevertheless, archive.org got it. Maybe some other web service already does that? No idea. Haven't dig much.

What purpose did that lawsuit served really? I don't understand. If I would be plaintiff, here is what I'd do:

Consult some business people and come up with the strategy that is best for the business. It may not punish Scott Larsen, but who cares? Business first. Grudges second.

But hey......I'm a broke loser writing on bathroom wall of society. It's not my business. All I wanna do is bring attention to the irony that this site was archived all along. Why waste money on lawyers? Hey, gimme some if you have extra.
