What's wrong with Job? What's wrong with MLM

Free Internet Marketing Article

Secret of Happiness in Life and Business

By Terry Dean
Let me begin by telling you a story...

In Indiana, there lives a woman who works 8 hour days 6 days a week at a local computer company. We will call her "Barbara" for the sake of this article.

Barbara dreads getting up in the morning. She dreads getting ready for work. She dreads driving to work. She dreads clocking in. She absolutely hates her job.

She has a degree in computer science, but she can barely stand the sight of a computer anymore. Everything in her miserable life has become a drudgery to her. She can barely stand herself. The most important thing to her is that wonderful clock that chimes 5 p.m. when it is time for her to go home.

She rushes to her car...Drives as fast as the law allows home...and then immediately rushes into her house as fast as she can to the noise of overexcited door greeters. Both them and her have waited all day for this moment. Now, she can relax.

She sits down on the couch...collects up her pets (2 dogs and a cat) and gives each of them the attention she knows that they crave. She turns on "Animal Planet" on the television set and sits back breathing a sigh of relief that she lived through another day.

Every day this same process occurs. Sometimes she makes a stop by the library and gets a collection of books on "Dog Care" and on "Dog Training." On her day off (that wonderful day), her and her dogs go and spend the entire day at the local park. All of them wait all week for that wonderful event.

Because of the drudgery of her job and the desire she has to be constantly free from it, she decided to check into starting her own home business. Her friends sell Avon. As a matter of fact, one of them even makes enough money to do it full-time.

Barbara envies this woman...She gets up and works when she wants at her own business which she loves. She always seems to have a spring in her step and a smile on her face.

Then, one day her friend invites Barbara to join her. Excitement overflows inside of Barbara...She will be able to be in control of her own destiny. She can be in business for herself.

Barbara jumps at the chance...besides it is only $25 she says to herself..."What do I have to lose?" She is absolutely on fire with this new possibility...She can work for herself and make her own life.

She quickly begins to do everything her sponsor told her to do...She makes up lists of contacts. She begins contacting them all one by one. She does everything necessary to get started as fast as possible.

Barbara begins making a little money...(It always starts out small in your own home business), but something is missing. She stills has her job...She has her new home business and is beginning to make a little income doing it...BUT she has even less time than before to do the things she loves.

Her day off came and went...She had meetings to attend in her new business. Her dogs stayed home staring longingly at their leashes wondering what was wrong. Barbara is making more money now, but is no more free time than ever before.

Now, after the excitement of her new business has worn off, that telephone is getting pretty heavy to use. It is getting pretty tiring to come home from work every day and have to work this second job...even though it is hers.

One day, her sponsor quits and she has no one to help her stay motivated anymore. That was the final straw. She can't do it any more. She goes back to the old routine feeling guilty that she "failed" in her home business venture.

Later on down the road, this same process occurs. She joins another home business "opportunity" only to later give up and quit because she just can't take it anymore. Dozens of times this happens. Every time she feels more guilty that she just doesn't have what it takes to make it in her own home business.

Every time this occurs she ends up exhausted on her couch. The funny thing is that the answer to her problem has been right under her nose all of the time. It happens to be staring up at her lovingly right this moment holding it's leash.

Her problem has been that she works a job she hates. She wants a way out and others are promising her a solution that just isn't suited to her. They make money doing it because they love it. She makes a little at it and quits because she can't stand that JOB either.

For them, it is a way of life and a passion. For her, it is just another JOB, yet with less starting salary. Her passion is for her pets, but she spends time trying to work up passion for other people's desires.

I will let you off the hook and tell you...Barbara's problem is that she is trying the WRONG home business for her. She should be starting a business where her passion is at. Instead, she just tries to imitate others who have completely different desires.

I wonder if that is your problem? If you can't wait to get off your job and get out to the golf course, but you are trying to sell health products, it won't work. If you only want to garden all of the time, but sell make-up, you are dead in the water before you ever start.

Farewell my friend

Kathleen Vandervelde (aka "The Tasmanian Devil") vs The Dark Side

vs

A Long Time Ago, in a Galaxy Far, Far Away...Darth Vader is reincarnated. This time he is darker and more evil. He soon learned that one of his commanders Kathleen Vandervelde (aka "The Tasmanian Devil") is not as evil as she is supposed to be. She had allowed rebels to use comments on her site.

Darth Vader was furious. He threatened The Tasmanian Devil that she could lose her job. Kathleen Vandervelde had the advantage of being spared by solar spanking. But she was no match to the power of dark side.

In no time, commander Kathleen was strangled to death by the Dark side. She is gone, but her legacy is still alive, and will be the beacon of light for the increasing number of Jedi.

For those who are interested to know the details, Master Yoda knows.

Where are the leaders?

Quixtar Uplines teaches their downline that do not believe on any thing from a person that do not have a vested financial interest on you. And internet is just a bathroom wall of society.

Well, ok, A commenter Jona's dad raised a good point
You've touched on a point...the ego and arrogance of the kingpins (emeralds and above).

This question goes out to all IBOs...where are your leaders, defending the greatest "business" opporrtunity, since apple pie?

I know they know that QBlog is the single most popular place to come to for discussion on quixtar, see the Google results. This is it, this is the front line of the battle we're bringing to Quixtar's front door.

So, where are they? Don't they know quixtar's reputation is getting worse by the day? Are they scared to come on and have a discussion with us? Why do they send in the messenger boys, like tony and m&m, and not come on here like proud IBO leaders should? Are they afraid?

I for one am tired of tapespeak from the little guys. I'm tired of hearing "I'm not rich yet, but someday....blah, blah, blah. And, I know this one guy who makes...blah, blah, blah."

I want to hear from an emerald or above. I want to debate somebody who makes as much money as I do at my J-O-B, and compare lifestyles and how we got there. That is a challenge that has been made before, and never met. So, bring them on. Or do they have no pride, is just a bunch of hot air to be made into some tape?
Yup, if they know it all, why not they answer it on the internet? They can spout that they have a strategy to deal with "negativity on the internet", which means they are aware there is a negativity. And they also shows enthusiasm of the Quixtar Web Initiative. That strategy has backfired. Big fat bummer!

Why not they take charge and do it themselves? Have an open forum to answer all the negativity. Instead of having some writers writing ambiguous crap. I mean what does Kathleen means by that post? 'Negativity' gonna go away?

By the way, Quixtar WRTF is learning internet. Woo Hoo! Wanna learn from me? Not the master, but a guy not hated by most popular search engine?
That's all. Easy?

Screw them

iBlogO: It's Over
As of right now, my IBO number means zero to me. Sure I'd rather keep it, but if they're going to try and use it as a threat to silence me, screw them. I will say what I want when I want and if that brings about my termination in the business, that's no sweat off my back. I can get accustomed to the mundane storefronts again. I'd rather not but it won't kill me.
It's funny really, here is an IBO who wants to do Quixtar, love the products and in general is a positive voice FOR quixtar, some thing they don't have much on internet. And he is worried that Quixtar may not like it. I thought in Quixtar you can OWN your business?

Read that blog, Leo and Salena, another pro Quixtar blog, a rather honest blog was shut down by Quixtar. They quit! Read the comments on that post.
Dude,
Interesting because I was contacted by Quixtar about my blog and they had me delete it. I got so mad because I put so much effort into that blog, I was ready to punch the wall until my fist was numb.

However, I did delete it and I moved on. I left Quixtar, which wasn't going too bad for me, but like you said, I don't like people telling me what to do, etc.

I moved to another venture which has proven to be way more profitable for me so far. I'm just sorry I didn't make this change sooner.

By the way, I have a bunch of tapes, some are brand new, if you want them, they're yours. Or if you know anyone who might want them. I got like 50-100 tapes, I'm not sure how many. All you'd pay is shipping.

To your success,
Leo
So Quixtar, what is wrong with you? Seriously?

Cheaters.com - Cheaters

Cheaters.com - Cheaters reality TV exposes extramarital affairs, marriage problems, cheating husbands, cheating spouses, causes of divorce and emotional infidelity.

I have an idea. If your significant others is cheating on you, and is doing so because you are not too excited about Quixtar, you should call cheaters. Get them embarassed in public.

I read a person saying he was not too positive about Quixtar, while being an IBO. His wife, while he was their, asked on dinner by other IBOs.

How cool it would be if cheaters show up with cameras and stuff? Anyways, all negative wives and husbands: have fun and get back at cheating IBO spouse.

Yahoo Sucks!

http://www.scubatampa.com/yahoo.html
Jonathan Swift in Gulliver's Travels described a Yahoo as, "a race of brutish degraded creatures...having the form and all the vices of man.......vicious course persons". The founders of Yahoo actually named their company with this quote/definition in mind!

Anyone that restricts freedom of speech is a Yahoo!

Anyone that restrains trade is a Yahoo!

Anyone that can not cope with rapid growth is a Yahoo!

Anyone that is pretentious enough to ask you to 'suggest a site' is a Yahoo!

Anyone that sells or buys over-valued stock (like Yahoo's) is a Yahoo!

Anyone that uses Yahoo is a Yahoo!

And my addition: Any one that teams with Quixtar is a yahoo!

Yahoo! Search Results for quixtar

Yahoo! Search Results for quixtar

Wow! so yahoo passed as a 'positive' search engine? Just quixtar ads, nothing else on the first page? I mean c'mon, as negative as amquix.info or quixtarblog are, they are worth mentioning on first page. Is yahoo a search engine or an advertisement media?

Quixtar a Cult?

Ok, from now on, if I see any Quixtar related entry, positive or negative, standing on some top spot in search engine results, but shouldn't be there, I'll blog about it. Enough with the BS.

Hmm, ibo facts says it's not. Lets see!
Not at all a cult.
Definitely a cult. Ok lets read further.
The Quixtar business, as with other business, has a distinct culture defined by shared business goals. Shared business philosophies should not be misinterpreted as a cult.
No they shouldn't be. I have worked in 3 major corporations and they all have their unique cultures. But their culture definitely didn't recommend their employees to isolate from some one who don't speak 'positive' about their work place. No, not at all! Even evil Microsoft culture is quit light and non-insulting as compared to Quixtar culture.

Also, I was uh....paid....in those corporations. Didn't spend money to hear a 'leader' telling me employees are broke losers.

Bottom line, cult isolates it's members and use their resources for the top few. Major corporations, who have many faults, are not damaging to their employees (usually). Cults are! Quixtar motivational organizations are just like cults.
While unique as individuals, Quixtar IBOs share a desire to succeed in a business of their own, and they recognize the Quixtar Independent Business Ownership Plan as an excellent vehicle to achieve their goals. That should help you appreciate that Quixtar is nothing like a cult.
How is that helping? What's the point? Cult members also think highly of cults. So? But they end up isolated, somewhat mentally and financially devastated. Cult don't give them anything worth.

Does Quixtar gives their IBOs any thing worth? Average income does not even come close to average expense. And 50% of whole IBO force quit every year, labeled as 'losers'.

Is there EVER been any celebration in Quixtar if a diamond or some other leader leave Quixtar to pursue any other opportunities? In other 'corporation' cultures there have been many! People goes to new opportunities, retire and stuff. Every one who leaves Quixtar is either talked down or hided.

That should help you appreciate that Quixtar is nothing but a cult.

Citizine Interview - New Bomb Turks' Eric Davidson

Citizine Interview - New Bomb Turks' Eric Davidson

How you doin' first day free or whatever?

Eh, I'm alright. I've kinda calmed down about it, I guess.

What was it?

I worked at this -- oh, and I asked you to call back because I had to whiz. That was the only reason.

Okay. Interestingly, that's what I did during those couple of minutes!

Oh, there you go. Synergy. Yeah, it was a place in Columbus that makes catalogs basically. So I was doing copyrighting and editing and proofreading and stuff like that, basically for Quixtar, which is a nice new name for Amway for their catalog.

And it basically looked like they weren't gonna get the account for next year, which I don't know. So they let go a bunch of people. And I might still get the job back, maybe if they get the account, so who knows? But the last month or so, I've pretty much put off all the freelance music writing I'd been doing for a while, so I'm just gonna call back all those various editors and tell them I'm available.
